Alternaria alternata as a Causal Organism of Ink Spot Disease of Anigozanthos spp in WA
Ink spot disease has limited the production of certain species of kangaroo Paw, especially A. manglesii D. Don. The Drechslera iridis (Oud.) M.B. Ellis has been implicated as the causal organism. Four different fungi have been reported to be responsible for the disease, Drechslera iridis being the most widespread.
